Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This week we are trying Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie, an unpeated single malt scotch whisky from the Isle of Islay in Scotland.  This scotch is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof), retails at $40 a bottle, and is made by Progressive Hebridean Distillers.  Listen below to hear more about this scotch and our opinions as we try it, or you can see a quick breakdown by going to our Reviews page.

Afterwards we chat about one of the important ingredients that go into making whiskey that many may overlook; the barrel and char.  We then devolve into a discussion about whiskey pricing.  This includes the comfortability (or lack thereof) that we have when being given a sample of an expensive whiskey.

Thanks for listening and we hope you tune in next week.

This week your hosts are Jason, Ahmed, Amber, Anthony, and Mike.
